Spikes 'n Studs 'n Pearlstrings

As I was window-shopping in Vienna I came across a rather imaginative array of shoes. I would expect such shoes to be displayed in an alternative shop but these were carefully arranged next to grandma's loafers and maryjanes. It's happened. Last year there were studs and this year it's spikes turn to mainstream! I'm not sure what to think of them, I mean studs are cool, but spikes are a bit trickier to wear and get away with them. You'll see what I mean.

Note: Beware of the women who wear pearls and golden spikes at the same time:)

You've been warned. 

If it came down to a fight and you kicked somebody with these shoes, 

they would most likely bleed to death. Just saying. 

The Jeffrey Campbell spiked maryjanes. Well, sort of. If they came in red they would be appropriate for the punk rock version of the Wizard of Oz. And Dorothy would wear a nose ring, made the lion her new bitch and Toto would get eaten in the end.

I don't know why but I just keep imagining my grandma wearing this beige number...
